I am Mrs. Jamey Semrad. I live in Fremont with my husband (Geoff) and three children (Jaylen, Gillian, and Jasper). My husband is a graphic designer in Fremont. Jaylen is a fourth grader, Gillian a kindergartener, and Jasper is our new baby. They keep me quite busy. I have a large extended family that I love spending time with. I enjoy reading, walking, dancing, singing, and just spending time with my friends. I also love to learn new things. I am a lifelong resident of Fremont. I went through the Fremont school system, and continued my education at Midland Lutheran College. I graduated with my degree in Elementary Education in 1998. I also attended the University of Nebraska-Omaha for my Master's Degree in Reading, which I received in 2007.
This is my twelfth year teaching fourth grade. I have taught in two buildings in Fremont, Clarkson Elementary and Bell Field Elementary. I am actively involved in our local education association and district/building committees. I am one of the coaches for the 5th grade track and field day in May. I am also one of the sponsors for the High School Dance Team.
I want students and parents to feel welcome in the classroom we share. Please remember to contact me with any concerns. I look forward to building our classroom community together. |
